Equal parts bustling cafe, fresh lunch counter and gourmet grocery store, Small Foods has become a local favorite since its opening in 2012. In the front half of the market, a cafe offering a comprehensive list of coffee drinks as well as a handful of mezze-style platters is almost always bustling with nearby office workers. In the afternoons and evening, the counter changes gears, four craft beers and four wines (two reds and two whites) on tap complimenting a large selection of bottled beverages. Beyond the cafe area, a lunch counter offers packaged goods and made-to-order meals, all produced in the on-site kitchen. The remainder of the shop consists of several rows of shelves lined with eco-friendly or organically minded grocery items ranging from staples such as flour, butter, milk and produce to packaged cookies, snacks, coffees, teas and more. Make sure to grab one of the vibrant flower bouquets at the front of the shop, yet another Small Foods item carefully crafted in house.
