Originally it served as a trading post, buying and selling furs, pelts and tack supplies. Then in 1915 it became the New Frontier Market, it’s first appearance as a grocery store. The building has seen several different owners and business models. In 1990 parts of the store were damaged in a fire which caused it to close temporarily. Once rebuilt the New Frontier Market has served as a neighborhood market and natural food store. Now specializing more in natural and organic foods, produce, and a premium selection of beer and wine. We celebrate and enjoy the long history of this building and the New Frontier Market, but we our more exited to continue serving our customers into the future.
