Gratiot Central Market

Built in 1915, this Detroit gem was primarily a meat market. Today, the Gratiot Central Market located in the Eastern Market area continues the tradition of carrying a wide range of specialty meats, but has expanded to include an on-site bakery offering fresh baked goods and barbecue supplies. Some of their specialties include 16 varieties of fresh fish, lobster, scallops, crawfish, tripe, oxtail, corned beef, home-made sausage, goat, rabbit, lamb and more.
