Dill Pickle Food Co-Op

When Dill Pickle Food Co-op opened its doors in 2009, it was the only community-owned grocery store in the city. The full-service grocery store, which charges $250 for a lifetime membership that can be paid in $50 installments, carries dairy products, fresh produce and baked goods, frozen meats, and more. The store also strives to reduce packaging with its impressive selection of bulk pasta, beans and grains. Co-op members are encouraged to participate in committees, volunteer and help determine how the store operates and what is sold on its shelves. But anyone can shop for groceries at Dill Pickle.
