Located in Austin’s first planned suburb(Hyde Park) is Avenue B Grocery, Austin’s oldest grocery store. You know how things were simple back then, when the name of your establishment was simply the street name. The grocery store stocks all your necessary items, but apart from the practical and aesthetic appeal, it has one other attraction. A big sign outside the store says ‘home made sandwiches’. Tip toe across the groaning porch and call for a King sandwich. Roast beef and cheese will never taste the same again. The establishment accepts cash and debit cards.
